- Q: Where do customers cancel their order?
- Logged-in customers use My Account → Orders → Cancel Request, also available on the View Order page. Guests use the secure Cancel Order link in their order email, which opens a dedicated order-details page with the same popup.
- Q: Where do admins approve or decline requests?
- Under WooCommerce → WC Cancel. Each row shows the order, date, statuses and total, with View, Approve and Decline actions plus a View popup with the customer details and request date.
- Q: What happens on approve or decline?
- Approve moves the order to Cancelled with an approval note; decline returns it to Processing with a decline note. Both store the decision and date on the order, update the request history table, and trigger the matching customer email. Declined orders cannot request again.
- Q: Does the free version refund payments automatically?
- No. The free version handles the approval workflow and status change; any payment refund is done manually in WooCommerce. Automatic gateway refunds, manual-refund tracking and wallet credit are Pro features.
- Q: What are the requirements?
- WordPress 6.7+, WooCommerce 8.0+ (tested to 11.0) and PHP 8.0+. The plugin declares HPOS compatibility and works on multisite. WooCommerce must be active for the plugin to load.
- Q: Where do I get support?
- Free support is available in the WordPress.org plugin forum for WC Cancel Order. For Pro help, contact support with your order ID — please do not post Pro questions in the free forum.
