This Privacy Policy explains what personal information WpExperts Hub collects when you browse this website, create an account, buy a plugin or contact us, why we need it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. The website is operated by WpExperts Hub; you can reach us at support@wpexpertshub.com.
Information we collect
- Account and order details. When you create an account or place an order: your name, email address, billing address, phone number, a VAT or tax number if you enter one, your order history, your downloads and your licence keys.
- Licence activations. The address of each website where you activate a licence key, so that updates and support can be matched to your purchase.
- Messages. Your name, email address and message when you use the contact form or the project enquiry form, or write to us by email.
- Reviews. If you review a plugin: your name and review text, which are shown publicly, and your email address, which is not. A review from a customer who bought the plugin is marked as a verified customer.
- Technical data. Your IP address, browser and device details and the pages you visit. This is recorded by our web server, by our security tools (which log sign-in attempts and blocked requests) and by analytics (see section 3).
We do not see or store your payment card number. Card and PayPal details are entered on the payment provider’s own forms (see section 4).
How we use it
- To process orders and payments, deliver downloads and licence keys, and send order emails such as receipts and invoices.
- To provide plugin updates and support, and to reply to your enquiries.
- To keep the website and your account secure and to prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
- To keep the records that tax, accounting and other legal rules require.
Cookies and analytics
- Essential cookies. These keep you signed in and remember your cart, your checkout and the currency shown on the website. The website cannot work without them.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited and how people move through the shop (for example product views, add to cart and purchases). It sets cookies and receives information such as your approximate location, device and browser. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Videos. Plugin pages can show a YouTube video. It loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you press play.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the website, and only as far as they need it:
- Payment providers (PayPal and Stripe) process your payment. They receive the payment details you enter and the billing information for the order, and tell us whether the payment succeeded.
- Google receives analytics data as described in section 3.
- Hosting, content delivery and email delivery providers store and transmit the website’s data and the emails we send you.
These providers handle information under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Security and how long we keep information
We protect the website with secure connections (HTTPS), restricted access and sign-in protection. We keep order and invoice records for as long as accounting and tax rules require and as long as we need them to provide updates and support. Messages are kept for as long as it takes to deal with them. Security logs are kept for a limited period.
Your choices
You can see and edit your account details in My Account. You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it by law, for example for tax records. Email support@wpexpertshub.com and we will reply as soon as we can. The website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
